Here are the basics I use to winterize:

SC rebuild requirement is 200 hours on the 2015's... So unless he is over 200 hours, it is still a warranty issue.

1) Look for boost leaks/loose hose
2) Check/replace spark plugs (when last replaced?)
3) Check supercharger clutch for slipping (when was it last rebuilt?)
4) Check for potential intercooler leak
