Hi, can anyone advise me where to start looking , I have a 2009 Kawasaki ultra lx 150 and I was riding slow and didn’t release I took a lot of seaweed in until I hit the throttle ,the ski had little to no power I managed to get the ski back to the beach just as the high temp light started flashing and a small bit of steam coming out of the pisser,after I got the ski back on the trailer and managed to remove all the seaweed which was a lot and could of filled plastic shopping bag I put the ski back in the water and I noticed a slight difference in the exhaust tone and the ski was down on power , A friend said remove the pump and check the wear ring , I have done this and can feel slight wear in the liner where the propeller spins up, what is acceptable wear and would this be my problem and are wear rings available to buy or do I need Buy a complete new pump.
