Hi Jim You have a great reputation that`s why I need your help friend I bought a 2018 GP1800 and need help to get into the 80`s mph but without breaking the bank what shall be my first mod?

Jim, are you still offering your plate service? I could not find it in the GH store. The plate I'd like to have modified is a 2016 FXCSVHO stock plate. You nodded a 2012 FXCSHO plate for me and I loved it! Crashed that ski...got a 2016, and now I'd like another plate! Thanks!

Thanks for getting back Jim, it looks old ok, I’ll have it delivered in a few days, interesting no shims tho.
I bought it off this guy, he claimed to have put shims with it??
Any how like the original one that’s on it, it just bolts up to hull??
is there anything I should look out for?? Or do in your opinion??

Hi Jim,
looking for your guidance, I just bought a R&D plate that you cut from a chap in Huston, and I am putting it on my 2009 fxsho, I have a few mods but only bolt ons,air intake and ribbon delete and free flow exhaust, a solas 13-22r and svho IC. I ride river mostly and will be happy with 70-71mph, currently hitting 66-69mph depending on fuel level, my weight is 210lbs so should I put 2 shims at back ie next to intake? And 1at rear ie pump end??
Ive read a little on it and it’s a bit confusing as to what to do, as I don’t want it bouncing, I know I have trim on it, so your vast experience would be greatly appreciated, I am here in Ireland and weather is still cold.

Jim, I have a 2015 FX Cruiser HO and I am thinking about send my ride plate to you for a mod to gain a few MPH on the top end. The FX HO ride plate is the same as the FX SHO ride plate, so I am thinking you can do the same mod. I just wanted know what are the trade-offs. A friend of mine put a RIVA ride plate on his VXR and gained some top end but he gets a lot of cavitation on launch. Anyway, before I sent it to you, just wanted to know what to expect from it.
