  1. nicjak,
I've seen your posts all over greenhulk.net and I thought I'd message you directly. I just bought a used 2010 Ultra 2060x from a friend that has been in fresh water since day one (Lake Michigan, in USA) it had 55 hours on it, and a supercharger replaced under warranty 24 hours ago. After I bought it and before I used it, I took it to a dealer to change the oil, plugs, etc and to check it over. I get it on the water, and an hour later it's doing the "no more than 3,000 rpm" bit. Long story short, I get it back to the dealer to find out what is wrong and they say the supercharger bearings are shot and I need a new sc for $3500. My questions are: could the bearing failure be caused by low sc oil? Shouldn't they have seen that during the work they did? Any other thoughts you may have for me would be appreciated.
Thanks for your help with the forum, and for your consideration of my questions.
  2. Hi,

I am a little concerned with smoke from the exhaust and thought I would ask to see if you had any idea if its normal or not.

The oil and oil filter has been changed.
    Spark plugs changed.
    Fresh fuel 98.
    Flushed with salt away.

I added some videos to show what it looks like both in the water and on the trailer

Performance is quite good and little to no issues. There is a bit of a mid power hold back (tenth of a second hesitation) before getting up to top end speed.

Any thoughts on if I should get it looked at?

    Thanks in advance
